Thomas Welch currently holds two roles; he is the Executive Director of Financial Aid and also works as an FYS Instructor. With 17 years of experience in higher education, Mr. Welch initially worked in the admissions office for six years before transitioning to financial aid. In 2019, he assumed his more recent role as an FYS instructor. In addition to his professional commitments, he volunteers with special needs students through an organization called Young Life. Thomas is a dedicated family man, married with two sons named William and Parker, aged 8 and 13, respectively. When he’s not assisting students, he enjoys playing hockey with his boys or spending quality time with his wife, Julia. The Welch family has been residing in Rolesville since 2013.
