Members of the Barton College Community,
Barton College is monitoring the weather for the remainder of the week as Tropical Storm Debby moves into North Carolina.
At this time, Barton College will remain open, as student-athletes have already returned to campus, and others are planning to return this weekend.
***Please note that student-athletes planning to arrive on campus on Friday, August 9, should plan to delay their arrival by one day. These student-athletes should now plan to arrive on Saturday, August 10, at the same designated time of day assigned.
Everyone traveling during the storm should use good judgment and caution relative to their safety. Should any employee have concerns about traveling to campus during this weather event, please discuss with your supervisor to determine if remote work and/or use of PTO is possible.
The College will update the campus community again, as more information becomes available regarding the storm’s path and progress.
