Parents Council Committees

The Parents Council serves the students and supports the College through the Council's three committees: Admissions, Fundraising and Special Projects, and Student Activities.

This team assists the Office of Admissions in its efforts to recruit and enroll potential students in Barton College by:

  • Assisting in contacting prospective parents by phone
  • Advising the Admissions team of potential recruits in the area of the parents' residences.

Fundraising and Special Projects Committee

  • Identify creative ideas to increase interest and participation in philanthropic support for Barton College

Student Activities Committee

  • Facilitate the flow of information to Barton families about activities available at Barton College
  • Assist the Campus Activity Board and the Student Activities Office by recommending activities and programs
  • Aid the Student Activities Office in assessing the level of success of each semester's activities and recommending improvements.
